This week the Downs and South Western District Ladies Championships were held in Gatton. Three of our Cabarlah ladies attended the event amongst an elite field of golfers.
On Monday, the 18 hole Foursomes was held and local golfer Sue Hayes and her partner Sandra Dalziel (Goombungee) won the 18 hole nett.
On Tuesday, our Ladies Captain Janelle Kruse had a sensational round of 81 gross - 61 nett. With this score, Janelle was placed overall 4th on the ladder in the gross and a clear leader overall in the nett.
The final result after the 2 days play, Janelle won the Bronze 1 (Handicap 19-29) Division Championship ( 36 hole Gross) being a wonderful result for both Janelle and our club.
